How would you explain your business in one sentence to your grandmother?

Insurance without paper and without the need to go to an office. We offer income protection for freelancers.

Where did the idea come from and what problem does it solve? 

The lack of insurance for people in the gig economy in Europe and the pressure from the European Union to find a solution to this problem.

How did you form a team? How do you know each other, why did you decide to work together? 

The solid business relationship between the two cofounders Gergana and Patrick and the business angels Jean, Giselle, Jean-Marc, Alain (their colleagues & bosses from previous insurance development projects Allianz, La Banque Postale). Stanley & Mako joined in 2018 and brought strong tech expertise to the team.

Was there a moment that almost turned you down?

We have moments like this almost every week, but we still keep going.

The biggest mistake so far?

We don`t dream big enough.

The most valuable advice you would give to those after you? 

Start to look for business partners and investors as soon the team is formed and you have the business ideas in mind. Don`t wait to have the final version product- you will save some time.

How do you resemble the Bulgarians and how do you differ from them? 

We are a team with mixed nationalities and everyone brings his strengths to the team. We are strong like the Bulgarians.

Why is Bulgaria a good (or bad) place to start a business? 

For us is a good place with many great et open minded people and experts. 

If you have a magic wand, which partner or investor would you like to bring to the team? 

Warren Buffet, Bernard Arnault.

What are your goals? Where do you want to go from here on out? 

Bring great solutions for the gig economy in Bulgaria and Europe. Contribute to the digitalization of Bulgaria.
